The NGO (Non Governmental Organisations) forum meets on a quarterly basis to share information, updates and plan joint working. GMP share the current intelligence picture based on referrals from multi agency partners and members have the opportunity to ask questions or contribute further information. Members are encouraged to share updates from their organisations and raise issues and themes they would like to explore. Representatives from the multi-agency Challenger team are available to discuss individual cases and issues if necessary and the aim is to provide a relational and non-competitive environment for all members to learn from each other and work together.
Outside of the quarterly forum, members will work together on specific projects (for example around awareness raising or victim protection) and will continue to share information with the Challenger team.
Any NGO organisations or partner agencies with an interest in Modern Slavery are welcome to attend, for more information please contact mischa.macaskill@wearecauseway.org.uk
